Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Resume Vetting service (the "Service") provided by SD IT Support Ltd("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The service
The Service provides AI-assisted candidate screening: it analyses CVs against a job description and returns assessments, strengths, concerns, and suggested areas for review. It is a decision-support tool. It does not make hiring decisions and does not perform automated recruitment selection.
2. Human decision-making
All hiring and recruitment decisions are made by you and remain your sole responsibility. The Service surfaces evidence to assist your judgement; you must review candidates yourself before making any decision.
3. Accuracy disclaimer
AI-generated assessments may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and are provided for guidance only. You must independently verify candidate information and suitability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Credits are tracked per account and shared by everyone you allow to use it.
5. Credits, payment and refunds
- The Service is paid for with credits bought as one-time purchases via Stripe. Scanning a CV costs a fixed number of credits as shown in the app.
- Charging is pay-as-you-go and server-side: a credit is charged only when a scan returns a usable result. Failed or unreadable scans are not charged.
- New accounts may receive a one-time grant of free scans on email verification. Free credits have no cash value.
- Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Credits are a licence to use the Service, not money or a stored-value instrument.
- Prices may change; changes do not affect credits already purchased.
6. Acceptable use
You agree that you will:
- have lawful authority and a valid lawful basis to process any candidate data you upload;
- comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws (including UK GDPR and the Equality Act 2010);
- provide candidates with any notices and rights they are entitled to under data protection law;
- not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; and
- not misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
You must not use the Service to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. The Service is designed for human-reviewed decision support only.
7. Data protection
For candidate personal data you submit, you are the data controller and we are your processor. That processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. Our handling of your account data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service and its software. You retain all rights in the job descriptions and candidate data you submit. You may use the assessments we generate for your own internal recruitment purposes.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that:
- we are not liable for hiring decisions, candidate suitability, recruitment outcomes, employment disputes, or any decision you make using the Service;
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; and
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law, including your processing of candidate data without a lawful basis or appropriate authority.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, or where required by law. On termination, unused free credits lapse; treatment of unused purchased credits will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
